Tarot – The Tower: Forewarned Is Forearmed

I have written a previous blog on “The Death” card, as it tends to make people uneasy or downright panicked when it appears in a spread. Knowing how beneficial a tarot reading can be, and being a responsible reader myself, I feel the need to remove the stigma attached to cards that are deemed negative within the deck. As such, I will shed light on yet another such card, “The Tower” which tends to bring in upheaval, shocks and or chaos with it to different degrees.

Life is full of ups and downs; highs and lows and we sometimes feel there is nothing to be done about it. Some will make the most of this roller-coaster ride, letting go of the bar, hands in the air, enjoying the thrill, whilst others will scream from sheer terror, squeezing the bar until their knuckles turn white. In keeping with this analogy of a roller-coaster ride, and for those of you who find it hard to let go and enjoy, fearing the worst, what if I told you that you could preview your trip ahead of time. You would see yourself cruise all the twists and turns, the dark tunnels, the loops, the drops, in the safety of the room you’re in. Would this reduce your level of anxiety for the actual ride? After all, it’s the not knowing or the imaginary negative possibilities that overwhelm us and steal our pleasure.

Think of “The Tower” as the expression “Forewarned is forearmed,” or as a preview of things to come. Isn’t better to know ahead of time, of the challenging events to come? You’ll have time to prepare or perhaps even thwart partially if not, entirely the effects surrounding the circumstances this card heralds. If I were to say to you for example, that there will be some upheaval at work that will have some major implications, wouldn’t you start to prepare in advance to avoid or lessen the impact? I should think so. As you see, all perceived negativity has a silver lining.

A reading with me has the power to do just this, to reduce the effects of challenging moments whilst magnifying the beautiful ones to come.

Love and light,

Michelle Rose
