Last night while watching a movie set in 17 century France, titled “A Little Chaos”, I had a moment that can only be described as an epiphany.
A lady and a gentleman stroll down a wooded path in the countryside and while admiring the beauty all around, the man states: “I sometimes feel entirely defeated by life’s extremities – then, I come to a place like this and gradually, a small courage takes hold of me and I feel fitter for things.”
Had I tried to put words to this same kind of moment, I do not believe I could have done it justice and yet, upon hearing those words, I couldn’t help but feel as though I were expressing them myself.
Nature holds a power to awaken in each of us feelings that too often lie dormant, until we are stimulated enough to take notice.
