Glowing Within:
I have always loved and admired glittery gemstones and radiant crystals since my youth, but it wasn’t until a couple of decades later, through an exercise my medium-teacher had set up, that my interest in crystals would take on a new dimension.
In his classes, my most loved spiritual teacher, Harley, enjoyed introducing us to different spiritual topics. Shamanism, energy-healing, mediumship and channeling were a few of them. He preferred to teach through practice rather than theory. I met every class with enthusiasm because our instructor’s technique was to teach us through fun, play and games. His method was aimed at helping his class to relax in order to better receive instruction and ready us for new and different experiences.
Crystal Sensing Exercise:
As we entered the classroom, everything appeared unchanged. We seated ourselves in a circle. Harley then lead us into a state of (deep-meditation) and asked us to locate, while seated, certain crystals that he had hidden within the room. After 10 minutes, I noted what I sensed. In this way, I was able to localize the crystals, which were spread out around the room within a 15 foot radius, without leaving my chair, simply by picking up their vibrations.
Amplify and Rrefract:
Our instructor now moved on to his next test. I at once began to experience a slight vibration in my left ear, which increased in strength, until I thought I might pass out because my head felt as though it was going to leave my body. I explained this sensation to Harley and he suddenly realized at once, that he had forgotten about the large, amethyst he had hidden away, which was located directly above my head and a little to my left. It was then I learned about the power of crystals and through attending workshops and reading books by various specialists on this subject such as;

Amethyst, being of the quartz family, is an amplifier and is known to magnify and refract energy many times over.
Next time you are drawn to a crystal or a gem stone, take a moment to ponder on why? It may not only be the beauty or color you are drawn to, but also its energy and healing properties.
