A Tarot Card a Day - Exercise

Daily Tarot Card(s):

For the past several months I had gotten into the habit of randomly selecting a daily tarot card. More often than not, the cards I’ve chosen have been benign, gentle or even blase in nature and therefore did not require further analysis or mental preparation on my part. Occasionally, however, I’ve pulled more challenging or tumultuous cards, to which I paid particular attention, assimilating its meaning and when guided, choosing additional cards for further clarification. Thus, allowing me to either alter the outcome or at the very least, lessen its effect on me. As the saying goes, forewarned is forearmed.

A Bitter Taste:

I have but rarely regretted forgetting to pull my daily card, however, I can honestly say with much chagrin that one day this past week was indeed such a time. As I hadn’t foreseen and thus was ill prepared for a workday filled with frustration, drama, sadness and regret. The whole affair left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

An Additional Bonding Exercise:

In the midst of muddling through the quagmire of emotions that this event precipitated, I decided to find a silver lining to all of this. It dawned on me that on days such as this, wherein I neglect to pull a card at the start of my day that I should choose the card or cards I feel best represent the day’s happenings after the fact. Hence, a creative new way to bond with my tarot has come about. Every dark cloud has a silver lining. Sometimes you need to look a little harder.

Love & Light,
